Without the right training, the promotion to leader can be a sink or swim situation – especially in difficult business conditions. This program has been specifically designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities of your up-and-coming leaders.

Through our series of workshops, coaching sessions and self – paced learning, your leaders will learn the fundamentals of authentic communication, distinguish between managing and coaching, and apply the basic principles of great leadership into their everyday communications.

Program objectives

Learn how to inspire, lead and develop yourself and your people
Develop a deep understanding of why culture matters and how business strategy links to performance
Provide participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to recruit and select the right team member for the job
Hold an understanding on how performance management systems can be effectively utilised to raise the performance of individuals and teams by setting clear expectations and providing constructive feedback, as well as managing a legally compliant disciplinary process
Discuss and identify workplace relations legislation as it applies to your business, and methods to reward and recognise your team
Gain an understanding of mental health issues in the workplace, work health and safety and how to prevent and deal with complaints of discrimination and bullying
